Using Two Anti-spyware Programs To Make Your Stop Spyware Defence Stronger
Unity is strength and it holds true in stop spyware world too. I.e., it is better to have two quality antispyware from two different companies working to stop spyware from entering your PC. More than two antispyware can be management headache and thus I am suggesting the strategy of using two antispyware on your Internet connected PC to make your PC fight well against spyware.
Programmers develop malicious spying software – spyware, and programmers write the code too for spyware detection and removal. Thus two antispyware from different programmers is definitely a good tactic to make your PC more secure against spyware. Do you agree? If you can manage three or more antispyware, do so but I am comfortable with only two and haven’t found any spyware related issues after adopting the same!
Thus the focus of this article, is on getting maximum protection from spyware by using two anti-spyware programs in your stop spyware defence strategy. The article also covers about how two anti-spyware programs can be effectively setup to make your computer spyware detection and removal policy stronger.
It also covers the brief details of precautions that you should take when using this strategy of spyware prevention.
What is the rationale of using two anti-spyware programs in making spyware detection and removal rate better?
Even after installing the best available anti-spyware program and performing regular scans after regular updation, there are chances of your anti-spyware program failing to detect certain spyware because of spyware being new and your anti-spyware not programmed to catch it yet. Thus, you are left with your computer infected with spyware until spyware definition is available for the new spyware. And the worst thing is you are not even aware of the fact that your computer is infected.
So what is to be done in such cases to stop and clean spyware infections? Are you helpless in such situations? Answer is NO! If you have installed another good anti-spyware program then there are good chances of this backup anti-spyware catching the spyware that your active anti-spyware program failed to catch. As there is stiff competition in anti-spyware market, the companies always try to provide the solution for every new spyware as early as possible! So, even if your active anti-spyware failed, you can hope that the backup anti-spyware has the new spyware included in its latest spyware definitions (files that catch and cure spyware).
Another case of using backup antispyware is when you suspect your computer to be infected by spyware as you notice abnormal behavior or symptoms such as sudden ad popups or computer running too slow etc. The backup anti-spyware from a reputed company definitely comes in handy in above mentioned situations.
OK, now when you understand the importance of using two anti-spyware programs to stop spyware effectively, the next question that comes naturally in your mind is “Can I run them simultaneously in real-time monitoring mode/active monitoring and cleaning mode so that the chances of spywares being caught and cleaned are greater in case any one of them fails?” Good question and it’s tempting to configure both of them to monitor your computer in real-time mode to help you effectively stop spyware but the answer to your question unfortunately is NO!
You are advised not to make both of the antispyware setup for real time monitoring because they will then often clash with each other and produce undesirable results. Possibly they may declare each other as a spyware in such case.
Here is the list of logical steps for almost completely stopping spyware by using dual anti-spyware programs:
- Select two best anti-spyware programs based on the positive reviews and your research and install them onto your computer.
- Configure ONLY ONE of them to run in real-time monitoring mode. Explore the settings and you will be able to find real-time monitoring mode setting easily.
- Run a “Quick Scan” periodically using both of them but only one running at a time. Quick Scan inspects the most critical sections of your system. This can be done once in a week.
- Run “Full Scan” of each of the two antispyware one by one and not together. Full scan does thorough checking of your system and includes all the hard disks. This can be done once in a week on your PC when it is free for some hours. This can also be scheduled in advance if you tend to forget a lot of things like me.
- Before scanning (Quick or Full), ensure that the spyware definitions are up-to-date by clicking on “Check for Updates” or something similar.
I hope that this article should definitely equip you with the basic knowledge for using two well reviewed stop spyware programs to make your PC more secure against spyware attacks. Use only one of these anti spyware programs in scan mode at one time and then use the other one after you have scanned spwyare with the first stop spyware program.
Do not use both of the stop spyware programs in real time scan mode as they may clash with each other and declare each other as spyware.
Trusting and using only one stop spyware or antispyware program is not the expert strategy to almost completely stop spyware (spying programs) especially when you can easily use two spyware prgrams to scan and remove spyware.
I hope that the tips in this article would help you better in your war against stop spyware by using two antispyware.
